Gervais Koffi is a superb bass player and vocalist, a great performer and a magnificent dancer who breathes life into any audience. He has proven to be the ideal person to introduce the music of West African and the French Caribbean to Australian audiences.

Gervais Koffi and the African Diaspora present a visual show with African dancing and percussion segments, Latin and French Caribbean influences (Zouk music).

Together with a multicultural band hailing from Ivory Coast, Senegal, Mauritius, Kenya, Indonesia, Japan and Australia, Gervais steams through a carefully crafted mixture of originals and covers of African classics.

Within this framework the band gets down, gets funky and solo very well without indulgence. Usually after the third song the dance floor remains busy till the end of the show.
